Announcing “A New Era” for the Polka Industry!!!

Much has been said and much has been written about the current state of the “national polka industry”. Starting a few months back as just an “idea”, a number of very concerned individuals came together and made a conscious decision to stop talking, and start doing something concrete. Galvanized by a singular vision, a “plan” was conceived, a “name” was selected, an “application for charter” was filed and a national search was conducted for like minded individuals to become “board of directors”. We are extremely pleased and happy to announce the formation and launch of “The Polka America Corporation”. http://www.polkaamericacorporation.org
Polka America Corporation (PAC) is a without stock, not-for-profit charitable foundation which has been formed under Chapter 181 of the Wisconsin State Statutes. PAC is governed by Articles of Incorporation and its Bylaws. The corporation’s national office is located in Central Wisconsin. The executive committee, board of directors and the sub-committees are an all-volunteer group of concerned members from across North America. Polka America Corporation (PAC) will execute its mandate in 5 very specific ways: By providing funds, by promoting and unifying through communication, by educating and lastly by assisting wherever possible.
